Roughly when. Without a time we are searching logs by guesswork. A date
and an approximate hour with a timezone turns an afternoon into two minutes.
What the reason said. Copy it exactly. Reasons are specific, and the exact
wording tells us which record to open.
What happened, from your side. The part that matters. Not "I did nothing"
— what you were doing, and what you think was misread.
What makes an appeal work
Being straight about it. "I did it, here is why, it will not happen
again" is an appeal that gets read carefully. Everybody involved has seen
enough of these to tell the difference, and it is not close.
Wrong, not unfair. "This is a mistake and here is the evidence" is a
strong appeal. "Other people do it too" is not an appeal, it is a report about
somebody else — and it does not reduce your punishment.
After you post
Wait. Do not post a second one, do not chase it on Discord, do not open a new
topic because the first has no reply yet. All three make it slower.
Appeals are read in order, seriously, by a person. You will get an answer in
the topic.
While you wait
Do not join on another account. That is ban evasion, it is a separate rule
break, and it turns an appeal that might have succeeded into one that cannot.
