Same policy as the other mode: no fixed schedule, because a calendar that is
wrong most weeks is worse than no calendar. Events happen when someone can run
one properly.
Where you will hear
Discord first, always, with the most notice.

In game shortly before and at the start.
This category for anything with rules to read in advance or results worth
keeping. Anything with prizes gets a thread — a prize announced only in chat
cannot be checked afterwards by anyone.
What an event thread contains
- When, with a timezone.
- The rules, especially where they differ from normal play.
- The prize, stated exactly.
- Whether it is worth bringing your good gear. On this mode that is the
practical question, and the answer is often no.
Event ideas that work well here
The economy makes some formats natural:
- Income races — most produced in a fixed window, starting from nothing.
- Hill holds — longest continuous hold, rather than most captures.
- Rebuild challenges — everybody starts stripped, first back to a target
income wins.
All three have the same nice property: they are measurable, so nobody argues
about who won.
Running your own
Go ahead, and post it here. Two things:
- The rules still apply during your event. It is not a suspension.
- If you promise a prize, hand it over. A competition whose winner never
got paid does more damage to a small community than no competition at all.
Want it announced in game, or backed with a prize from us? Ask on Discord
before you announce it, not after.
Afterwards
Post the results, including who did what. Two sentences is enough. It is the
difference between a community with a history and one where everything is
always happening for the first time.
