The most common source of confusion on the whole site, so it gets its own
thread.
Two separate accounts
Your Minecraft account is with Mojang. It is what lets you play. We do not
manage it, cannot reset it, and never need its password.
Your forum account is with us. It is what lets you post here, buy things,
and see your orders. Its own name, its own password.
Using the same name for both is sensible and recommended. It does not make
them the same account.
What linking does
In account settings, Link now looks up your
Minecraft name and stores the account's unique id. That gives you:
- Your skin on your profile and next to your posts.
- Your ranks shown as badges.
That is all. It does not prove the account is yours — the lookup only
proves it exists. A real ownership check needs a code entered in game, and
that does not exist yet. Which is why linking a name grants a picture and no
permissions whatsoever.
What each part of your account area is for
| Page | What lives there |
|---|---|
| Overview | Ranks, orders, what needs doing |
| Settings | Your bio, your Minecraft link |
| Security | Password, email, sessions, deleting the account |
| Ranks | What you own and whether it was delivered |
| Orders | Receipts and order numbers |
Sessions
Under Security. Every device you have signed in from, with the browser family
and a rough network — never a full address.
End the ones you do not recognise. And if you ever think your password has
leaked, changing it is not enough on its own; use sign out everywhere,
because an already-open session does not close by itself.
Confirming your email
Required before you can post. This is currently broken on our side — the codes
are not being sent at all. There is a pinned thread about it, and the fix is
to ask on Discord and have it unlocked by hand.
Deleting your account
Under Security. Your posts do not vanish with it — they stay, without your
name attached. A thread where half the replies disappeared is useless to
everyone who comes looking for the answer later.
