tsunanaaAdminServers go down. The part we can control is whether you find out from us or
from a connection timeout.
How you will hear about it
Planned maintenance gets announced on Discord ahead of time, and in game
if the server is up when we decide. Short reboots — the kind that take under a
minute — do not get an announcement, because writing it would take longer than
the reboot.
Unplanned downtime gets a Discord message as soon as a human notices. Not
before, because we are not going to pretend to have monitoring we do not have.
What to do when you cannot connect
- Check Discord first. If it is us, it is already being talked about there.
- If Discord is quiet, work through the Cannot connect thread in Help
before reporting — most connection problems are on the client side, and the
list there is ordered by how often each cause turns out to be the real one.
- Still stuck? Report it on Discord with your Minecraft version and the exact
error text.
What happens to your stuff
Nothing. A restart does not touch your inventory, your base or your rank.
The one case worth naming: if you were mid-trade or mid-transaction when a
server dropped, tell us rather than assuming. Those are the situations where
something can genuinely go missing, and they are fixable if we hear about them
the same day.
What we will not do
Silent rollbacks. If we ever have to roll the world back, it gets announced
with the timestamp we rolled to, before you find out by noticing your
afternoon is gone.
