Written for people who have played Minecraft but never a network like this
one. Nothing here assumes you know what lifesteal or KoTH means.
What "a network" means
One address, more than one game. You connect to play.ggnetwork.rip, land in
a hub, and pick a mode. Each mode is its own world with its own inventory —
what you own on HeartSMP is not what you own on HeartGen.
Which mode to start with
HeartGen, if you want to build up income and fight when you choose to.
HeartSMP, if you want every encounter to matter from minute one.
HeartSMP is the harder start: dying costs you a heart, and killing someone
gains you one. That means the players who have been there a while are
measurably tougher than you, and it is not your imagination.
Neither choice is permanent. You can play both.
The first mistakes everyone makes
- Carrying everything you own. On a server where dying has a cost, the
question is not "can I win this fight" but "what do I lose if I am wrong".
- Building near spawn. Convenient for you and for everyone looking for
something to raid.
- Telling people where your base is. Including by accident, in a
screenshot.
- Waiting to ask. People here answer questions. The Help category has
actual answers marked as solutions, and Discord replies in minutes.
What costs money
Nothing you need. The store sells ranks and keys, it pays for the servers, and
it is deliberately built so it cannot sell you a fight. If something in the
store looks like it would let someone beat you for having paid, tell us,
because that would be a mistake on our side.
What to do next
- Join, pick a mode, survive an hour.
- Say hello in the introductions thread.
- Read the rules. They are short.
- Vote — it is thirty seconds, it pays you shards, and it is how a small
network gets found at all.
