Start The money
Where this costs, and where it earns
Nothing on this page is a promise. It is arithmetic on stated assumptions, and two of the five levers cost gross revenue — a page where every change wins is a sales slide, not a calculation.
I do not know your numbers
Put three of them in and this page does the arithmetic. Every formula is visible below, and every assumption is a range you can change — because these are assumptions, not measurements, and I would rather say so than pretend otherwise.
Three numbers and this fills in. Nothing is stored or sent anywhere.
The levers, and what each one assumes
- 5…20%Price and free tier on the buttonToday the landing page never says what is free or what a file costs. A visitor who has to guess the price guesses high.
- 2…10%Identity strip free in every tierThe unspoken fear at the checkout is “what if this is not even them”. Answering it before payment removes the reason to close the tab.
- -5…8%Renewal and cancellation stated at the point of saleThis one can go either way: some people who would have subscribed will not. The ones who stay do not charge back, and chargebacks cost more than the subscription earned.
- -8…4%Automatic refund on empty file and wrong matchDirectly negative on gross revenue. The offset is repeat purchase and support load — a refund that happens by itself costs nothing to process.
- 3…15%Questions to ask, and the printable cardA report is a one-off. A preparation for a date repeats. This is the only line here that raises the ceiling rather than the floor.
What I would measure first
In this order, because the cheapest test comes first: the price line on the button (one deploy, measurable in a week), then the free identity strip, then the refund rule. The astrology fold and the report structure last — they change how the product reads, and that takes longer to show up in numbers than anyone wants.
